Anthony Johnson is Senior Associate Director Alignment USA, a part of Alignment Nashville, a non-profit working to improve the education and health of our community’s youth.  That includes providing access to opportunities designed to produce equity as the most efficient way to address the adverse cumulative effects of disparity.  In plain English, he wants all of us to live, work and play on an even playing field.  Anthony is very skilled in facilitating and leading thoughtful and engaging dialogues about race, diversity, privilege and inclusiveness. We’ve asked him to talk with our Friendship House residents and others who might be interested on how to talk about difficult topics, whether the topic is race, economics, or inclusiveness.  One conversational focus will be racial awareness, where recognition of racial, ethnic and cultural diversity is discussed.
