Our Place Nashville is an affiliate of the Next Chapter Book Club (NCBC), founded in 2002. NCBC’s mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for lifelong-learning, social connections, and authentic community inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through weekly or bi-weekly community-based book club meetings that include readers of all skill levels.  www.nextchapterbookclub.org

The group is reading “The Jungle Book” by Rudyard Kipling. Rachel and Paul Chinetti are today’s group leaders. We will end the book club portion of the meeting early to throw a baby shower for Rachel and Paul,whose little one should be arriving in another few weeks.

This will be our last book club meeting before going on hiatus over the summer. Book club will resume in mid-August.
