Metro Parks’ disABILITIES Program has given us 20 pairs of tickets for Saturday, July 27, at Wave Country, one of the area’s wave-action swimming pools! Ride the waves or just let them lap at your feet. You have access to two water flumes and two speed slides. Your admission includes floats (but there is only a limited supply). There are fast food concession stands, but you’re also welcome to bring your food and drink in a cooler — just no glass containers or alcohol. Bring your own chairs and a popup tent if you want. There are umbrellas, but they’re first come first served.

Email Carolyn Naifeh at carolyn.naifeh@ourplacenashville.org before July 19. The first 20 friends/self-advocates to RSVP will be the ones who get the tickets. Each friend gets a pair of tickets — one for him/herself, and one for a friend, family member, companion. This event is free.
