American Sign Language Class

Our American Sign Language last semester was a big hit earlier this year, and instructor Marsha James has agreed to continue teaching ASL this fall. Class began last week, and plans are to meet Tuesday evenings virtually, with beginners (none to a little experience) meeting from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and an intermediate class taking place from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Times will be finalized once participants' skill levels are determined. Marsha James is a Washington, DC-based television producer who learned ASL at Gallaudet University. Her enthusiasm is contagious and class participants learn and have fun simultaneously! Please contact Carolyn Naifeh if you'd like to register for these ASL classes. She will provide you with the Zoom link once you’ve registered.

Class began September 28. Tonight’s class will meet from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
