This 1938 classic — The Adventures of Robin Hood — won three Academy Awards (Best Art Direction, Best Editing and Best Score). Errol Flynn stars in the swashbuckling role that made him a star as the legendary Robin Hood, fighting to rid England of hte tyranny of Prince John while trying to win the love of the beautiful Maid Marian (Olivia de Havilland). When King Richard the Lion Heart leaves to fight in the Crusades, the evil Prince John plots with the help of Sir Giu of Gisboune to usurp the throne. Now, only Sir Robin of Locksley (Flynn), stands with a daring band of Merry Men to defend the realm, its people and his King.
