Life Skills Class: Building Family Trees

For people interested in learning more about their family tree, there are a number of resources out there, from free general genealogy websites to free newspaper archives, or subscription sites such as Ancestry.com, or community forums. Sara Maskornick is Staff Director for the Subcommittee on Children & Families for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. For fun, she works on genealogy, and has been doing so. nearly 20 years (she started young!). Sara will explain her connection to Our Place Nashville (there's a genealogical connection) and help class participants learn about the myriad tools out there to help you build your own family tree. The class will meet on Zoom from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
