Our Next Chapter Book Club meets every Wednesday from 4:45 pm - 5:45 pm; we're still meeting virtually instead of at Dozen Bakery. Last month, we started reading This Book is Funny, by Michelle Sandoval. The collection of short stories answers pertinent questions such as, What happens when a caveman goes shopping for real estate? Or a famous children’s television character goes speed dating? This book is good for a person’s mental health and is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud. The Next Chapter Book Club's mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for lifelong-learning, social connections and authentic community inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities.
