Life Skills Class: MLK Day Special

We are excited to be kicking off the New Year with our friends at Vanderbilt University for MLK Day. Since we could not complete an in-person day of service, we will be joined by faculty and students from Vanderbilt University virtually for this special event honoring the life of Dr King.

Leaders from the Vanderbilt Student Government (VSG) will lead an interactive session on the legacy of Dr. King, wherein presenters and Friends will read from a text and share insights on what is read.

Presenters include Zoe Rankin (VSG Director of Programming), Virginia Richards (VSG Director of Active Citizenship and Service), and Lonnie Smith (VSG First-Year Student Representative). VSG members will be accompanied by Roshaunda Ross-Orta, Vanderbilt Assistant Director of Student Organizations, Leadership, and Service.

The class will take place at our regular zoom room. Questions? Email Jordan Collins.

See You There!
