Life Skills Class -- Supported Decision-Making

We all make decisions daily. These decisions can be as simple as what to eat or wear or complex like purchasing a home or investing for retirement. At one time or another we all get help with making decisions. For someone with a disability, decision-making can be much more challenging, and there are resources out there that can help. One in particular is the Tennessee Center for Decision-Making Support, a virtual resource center that helps self-advocates, family members and supporters to understand available options and how to identify the best supports. Penny Johnson is the Program Coordinator for the Center and she will be discussing how you and others can use the Center and its resources for decision-making support planning. Class will meet from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Easley Community Center, 1000 Edgehill Avenue. Please contact Jordan Collins for more information or access to the zoom link if you would like to join in from out of town.
