EmpowerCon is a monthly series of events where people with disabilities, their families and other supporters can learn and share everyday skills and resources to live more independent lives. But more than that, it’s a place to be who you are and to have fun. You can participate in the entire series or pick and choose sessions that interest you. Today's EmpowerCon is a free, virtual event about Appreciation and Connection, as healthy relationships — including with ourselves — are an important part of Independent Living. Participants will discuss the Languages of Appreciation and how they help us understand what we’re looking for in relationships and how we can show up for others, too.
