Life Skills Class - Cybersecurity

  • Easley Community Center 1100 Edgehill Avenue Nashville, TN 37203 (map)

The Better Business Bureau is a repository for cybersecurity resources and provides tips to help both businesses _and_ consumers. Tambry Brechon works with the BBB of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky; she is the Regional Manager for Williamson & Maury counties. She is going to delve into social media scams and cat fishing and help people know how to stay safe while being active on the Internet. Class meets in person at the Easley Community Center, 1100 Edgehill Avenue, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.

As Life Skills Classes transition to in person, we welcome all residents and waiting listers to participate! Transport can be provided for those living at Friendship house if you let us know in advance.

If you are not able to make it in person, we will share a stream via zoom, however we hope to have as many people in person as possible to help us form bonds of connection. The zoom version will be held at our regular zoom room. Contact Jordan Collins for the link or with any questions you may have.
