Participants in Metro Parks' disABILITIES Program's theater classes will work together for four weeks to develop and perform a scene from a children’s story or fairytale. They will have the opportunity to take on the roles of different characters as well as pick costumes and props that best represent their characters. They will learn how to understand a story's plot and the role their character plays in that story. They also will learn how to take on fictional characters' personalities in order to play them in the story. Classes will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon at the Centennial Sportsplex or the Centennial Performing Arts Studio (in Centennial Park). This is a 4-week class, and classes will be held July 8, 15, 22 and 29. A full schedule will be sent to those who are registered. You can register here.
