This TOTALLY AWESOME 80's/90's dance party is a "come as you like" event, but dressing for the theme makes it that much more fun! It is hosted by the Down syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee, but you don't have to have Down syndrome to come. You DO need to be at least 16-years-old or older. The dance will be on Saturday, September 3, beginning at 5:00 pm. If the participant does not have a date, no worries, the DSAMT will get you a date. Parents can come but not as a dance date; there will be a light dinner on the property, but separate from the event. It is very important for individuals to foster friendships and independence, while also providing caregivers a couple hours of respite. The party is being held at the Nashville Catholic Diocese, 2800 McGavock Pike, Entrance 4. All the details and registration information you need can be found here.
