OPN Class: Empower Music Therapy

“Music brings us pleasure and releases our suffering. It can calm us down and pump us up. It helps us manage pain, run faster, sleep better and be more productive.” Kate Kelly is a Nashville musician and certified music therapist who uses music as a tool to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals that she works with. For this class, Kate will be leading us in an exciting group session, where you might get a chance to write some lyrics to a song, play instruments together in a group, or just enjoy the music we make together. You can listen to Kate's music on YouTube and learn more on her website. Class will meet from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Easley Community Center, 1000 Edgehill Avenue. Please contact Jordan Collins for more information or access to the Zoom link if you would like to join virtually.
