OPN Class: Plant-Based Cooking Demonstration

Meet Sauda, the vegan chef known as The Fair Shepherd, who owns and operates a specialty food artisan business that is Nashville-based, independent, and black-owned While she is usually selling her delicious sweet and savory foods at the Richland Park Farmer’s Market, Sauda also has been delivering 35 meals every other Tuesday to Our Place Nashville as a part of the Support + Feed non-profit’s mission to share plant-based meals with non-profit organizations around the country. We’ve gotten great feedback on the meals, and many of our residents find these vegan meals to be so good they didn’t even realize they were vegan!

We are excited to meet the chef behind the food deliveries, as Sauda comes to join us for a class on plant-based foods, giving us a demonstration of how she makes food taste so good, She says she aims to break down the negative stereotype that comes along with the word “vegan,” saying there is no compromising flavors with The Fair Shepherd!

Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity.
