Metro Parks’ DisABILITIES Program provides a non-contact boxing fitness class designed for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their friends, and family. This class, which is hosted by Title Boxing, is a fun and new way to stay active or get in shape. Learn about proper boxing technique, get a good workout, and make some new friends. No prior experience is needed.
This class is provided free of charge to athletes thanks to the generosity of sponsors. For the class, you will need to purchase or bring hand wraps. Hand wraps are $5 apiece for a total of $10 for both hand wraps. Please make sure to fill out a waiver before the class and bring it with you.
If you have any questions or concerns about this program, please reach out to McKenzie Mathew or call the Metro Parks disABILITIES Program office at 615-862-8489.
