AUCD 2023 Annual Conference

  • Renaissance Hotel 999 9th Street Northwest Washington, DC, 20001 United States (map)

Every year, the Association of University Centers on Developmental Disabilities (AUCD) welcomes thousands of Emerging Leaders to the Network. Located in every U.S. state and territory, they share a passion to serve, research, and educate to make positive changes with and for people with disabilities and their families. Emerging Leaders are vital to the growth of the AUCD Network and to the success of their mission: to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Emerging Leaders represent the next generation of innovative clinicians, service providers, trainers, advocates, family members, and academic professionals. The AUCD 2023 Conference recognizes that Emerging Leaders continue to propel their Network forward, building on a proud legacy of inclusion, striving for equity, and positively shaping the future.

Registration opened September 1 and closes on October 27. You can find more information and register here. For questions about the conference, please contact the AUCD Events Team. Costs vary and financial aid is available.

We are proud of Friendship House resident Bryshawn Jemison, who is Chair of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center’s Community Advisory Committee; he will be attending this conference for a second consecutive year!
