Our Place Nashville’s Family Group launches its 2023/2024 gatherings with a focus on circles of support. What is a circle of support and how do you construct one for your loved one? A circle of support is a group of people that encircles a specific individual with the sole intent of helping them in decision-making and future planning. This person-centered planning organizes and uses natural supports like family, friends, and acquaintances as well as formal community supports and services to help the individual achieve the things they define as important.
