The Nashville Food Project brings people together to grow, cook, and share nourishing food, with the goal of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in Nasshville. Toni Newsome, a member of the NFP culinary team, will be joining us to help Friendship House residents deepen their knowledge of healthy eating and the importance of taking care of their bodies with nourishing meals.
The Nashville Food Project grows organic food intensively and shares resources with others interested in growing their own food. In their kitchens, they use recovered, donated, and garden-grown food to prepare and cook made-from-scratch meals. In our community, they share nourishing meals in partnership with local poverty-disrupting nonprofits and community groups.
