Most of us are anxious about something or other — what other people think of us, are we going to be able to handle a problem — things we don’t even necessarily have the power to control. But we still worry. Or, sometime when we make a mistake, we beat ourselves up. We wonder why we can’t do something the way we want to, and it makes us get depressed. Well, we’ve got good news for you. 1) You are not alone — and it’s always good to know others are walking through the same kinds of issues we are. 2) There are tools that can help us better cope with the things that can make us anxious. Kay Arnold will be leading this class. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider and her counseling interests include family difficulties, trauma resolution and general life stresses. She works with the Babb Center for Counseling in Hendersonville.
