American Sign Language Class

Our American Sign Language last semester was a big hit earlier this year, and instructor Marsha James has agreed to continue teaching ASL this fall. Plans are to meet Tuesday evenings virtually from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. After a couple of classes, then group may be split into two, with beginners (none to a little experience) meeting from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and an intermediate class taking place from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Times will be finalized once classes participants' skill levels have been determined. Marsha James is a Washington, DC-based television producer who learned ASL at Gallaudet University. Her enthusiasm is contagious and class participants learn and have fun simultaneously! Please contact Carolyn Naifeh if you'd like to register for these ASL classes. She will provide you with the Zoom link once you’ve registered.

Tonight’s class will meet from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and will be the first class of the semester.
