Disability Day on the Hill

Each year, Tennesseans from across the state meet with their legislators to advocate for the disability community. It is a chance to gather as a community and take part in the legislative process. The Tennessee Disability Coalition is excited to announce that advocates will be heading down to the Capitol in person this year, with plenty of opportunities to participate and advocate and celebrate virtually as well.

The Coalition is planning two virtual events -- a webinar with legislators on March 2 at 1:00 pm.

The big in-person day is March 8 from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (boxed lunches provided). On March 7 there will be an in-person community party from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm (heavy appetizers provided). Nashville will light up on March 11 in "Coalition Blue" to celebrate Disability Advocacy Day. Find more information about all of the virtual and in-person events here.
