OPN Associate Director Jordan Collins and the Resident Director of our fourth Friendship House, Lynnette Henderson, will be appearing on WKRN’s “Local on 2” to talk about our openings for housemates in our soon-to-be opening Friendship House 5.

They will be talking about Our Place Nashville’s opening of our fifth Friendship House — a cluster of four shared living homes — on December 1, 2023. Resident friend slots will be filled from our waiting list, but we are now welcoming applications for individuals who’d like to be one of the neurotypical housemates living in community with our friends with developmental disabilities. Housemates living at one of our Friendship Houses enjoy affordable housing in a diverse and inclusive community while supporting their neighbors who are adults with developmental disabilities.

The co-hosts of “Local on 2"“ — Laura Schweizer and Larissa Wohl — ran a segment on May 18 on Our Place Nashville — focusing on the Monday night life skills class on public speaking led by Laura at our second Friendship House.
