Disability Leadership Collaborative

The Disability Leadership Collaborative is an informal group that meets monthly to discuss issues of common interest to non-profit, educational, and government leaders who work full-time in the world of disabilities, primarily intellectual and developmental disabilities. By working together, we can have increased resources, brain power, and effectiveness.

We will meet on Tuesday, September 19, to catch up on what the Collaborative has accomplished over the past year, what you’d like us to work on together in the year ahead, and determine whether you’d like to continue meeting on the third Tuesday of the moth or if you’d like to switch to a different day since some participants have standing meetings on that day. Virtual meetings are the easiest while in person meetings are better for networking. Let Carolyn Naifeh know your preference if you have one and we’ll meet whichever the. most of you want.

We’d like to welcome some newcomers: Robyn Lampley, Interim Executive Director of The Arc Tennessee, new Empower Tennessee Executive Director Gina Lynette, new Next Steps at Vanderbilt Director Ariana Amaya, and the new co-directors of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Pablo Juarez and Julie Taylor.
